Thrilled to finally see the last chapter of Bleach on screen, Kubo has been celebrating new episodes with original drawings of featured characters. This week, however, the celebration takes a moment to mourn two of its lost characters. The images, posted to Twitter by Kubo himself, depict Head Captain Genryusai Yamamoto and his lieutenant, Chojiro Sasakibe, in profile, looking forlorn. They feature muted colors, and the coloring is done in a flat style. The background of both pictures features rain, as the episode did when Captain Yamamoto fell. As ordered on Twitter, the two images are placed such that Yamamoto and Sasakibe are facing away from each other, perhaps both disappointed to have let the other down.
