Too fab

It all took place at the TMZ headquarters out in California, which was so fun to explore and record. On the show we shared lots of too fab, we talked and dished on our favorite celebrity looks, too fab, and what was a miss.

In September I decided to stop working for the first half year of and go back to studying. Making designs on a computer and then turning these into a reality with machines such as laser cutters, 3D printers, milling machines, and more, while also incorporating electronics. Basically all of the weeks were very rewarding in what I learned and made. While I was investigating if the Fab Academy might be something for me, I found it hard to truly get a sense of what the topics of each week implied. I figured it might therefore be helpful if I wrote a little about the whole experience and show, in a nutshell, what topics came to pass, what they meant, and what I created during each week. Fab Academy had come onto my radar during the start of I was still very much enjoying my work to create data visualizations.

That's why many stars of the franchise are joining the world of podcasting, where they're getting the chance to tell their own story and control their narrative. At the end of the week it was time to test the board, to load a tiny pre-written program onto the microcontroller at the heart of the board. I decided to use Hugo to build my website and used the Stack template as the base, after which I made many smaller style changes and functional updates. Henk therefore asked everyone to make something fairly simple. I used this week to create the main PCBs for my final project. It was absolutely stunning and fit her so well.
