Just a guess, but based on how the show was scored I'd say someone in charge grew up in the late 's. Of all the popular shows during that era, Perfect Strangers is probably the one show that faded into obscurity. Most of the other shows, like Growing Pains, Family Ties and Full House have remained in the social consciousness by being referenced occasionally. Perfect Strangers however hardly ever gets mentioned despite being immediately recognizable. That being said they probably got licensing rights for next to nothing and it's something people would notice along with the memories it invokes. In season 2 episode 1 there is a scene of three girls running through the woods. What is the significance of this scene?
