They hire a maid, Leslie, for the Inn and later meet their quirky neighbor, Kirk, who happens to be a habitual liar. As the Inn opens for business, problems crop up all over the place. Dick and Joanna learn that a body is buried in the basement. As they try to get the body moved to a proper burial ground, they learn that the woman was a witch. Dick considers getting into politics when two city officials tell him to run for town council.
