Depending on your housing requirement status, you might be applying for on-campus housing during the Fall semester, mid-October, or during the Spring semester, starting February.

When you choose to live on-campus you have easy access to everything happening at UNH. We believe living on campus is a big part of the UNH Wildcat experience. That's why beginning with incoming, new students in the Fall , UNH students will be required to live on campus for four semesters - the first two years for most students. Pay your Enrollment Deposit. Review the On-Campus Housing Requirement to find out if you are required to live on-campus. Apply Now! Only students who have submitted their enrollment deposit and claimed their UNH credentials can access the Housing Portal. Please plan accordingly as access is not granted immediately and may take one to two business days. If you submit the application after the deadline, you will be hand-assigned after the selection process is complete. After you submit the housing application, you may revisit the Housing Portal to make edits at any time, before Wednesday, June 12, Your housing selection is made with what is called a "Roommate Group. If you want a single or to partially fill a room with a random roommate, form a group of one 1. Your timeslot is the time when your roommate group will be able to select a space on-campus. Group leaders are the only ones able to self-select during the given timeslot. Timeslots are randomly assigned and you will be notified when timeslots are distributed via your UNH email. Keep track of the process timeline to know when timeslots are distributed! Eligibility for an RLC is based on criteria, such as a student's major, scholarship award, or honors designation.

During any of the selection processes, all areas will be available. On the Roommate Group page, you can always select Suggest Roommates to find other students that match your profile questions and preferences. Apply Request Information Give. For example, if you are aiming for a five-person apartment with two double rooms and one single, then your group must have five members one for each bed.
