Upgrade omv 5 to 6

It has been working smoothly since then and the release of OpenMediaVault 6. Usefully, I enabled an SSH service for remote logins and set up an account for anything that I needed to do. This includes upgrades, taking backups of what is on my NAS drives and even shutting down the machine when I am done with what I need to do with it. Using an SSH session, upgrade omv 5 to 6, the first step was to switch to the administrator account and issue the following command to ensure that my OpenMediaVault 5.

However, openmediavault-resetperms is not available in OMV6. It is ported - omv-extras plugins - porting progress to OMV 6. Check if installed plugin is available in OMV6. Looks fine to me. I ran "omv-release-upgrade" from a remote SSH login, rebooted after completion, a few moments ago and it seemed to work fine. Beware, I'm a newbie with OMV and stumbled across those instructions. Use at your own risk.
