Will and Uriah get into arguments twice: the first when Will tells Uriah that it seems unfair how the Dauntless-borns have been preparing for the initiation for the past sixteen years while the transfers only get a few weeks, and the second when Will notices how those with siblings who are already Dauntless members get inside information; both arguments of which Uriah has reasonable answers to. Tris and Uriah's friendship further develops, but he is most often seen with his fellow Dauntless-born initiates Marlene and Lynn. He later has a bet with Marlene where he has to shoot a muffin off Marlene's head without her flinching.

The first of the Divergent films brought to life most of what we loved about the YA series: death-defying Dauntless stunts, heart-stopping faction-action, and lots of quality Tris and Four time. But one thing or, more specifically, person we didn't see in the book-to-movie adaption was fan-favorite character Uriah, the Dauntless-born initiate and member of Tris' inner circle even author Veronica Roth was disappointed with the omission. Uriah groupies can rest assured, though: The character will finally be brought to life by Aussie actor Keiynan Lonsdale in the second film, Insurgent , out in theaters today. I caught up with Lonsdale on the phone to chat all about his big debut. I'm sure you know, but these YA novel adaptations generate quite the passionate fan base. Are you ready for the fan-demonium?
