Valkyrie 1 features a gimmick: when struck by an opponent, a built-in spring mechanism causes the DB Core to rebound, which allows a Valkyrie 1 combination to perform Bound Attacks. While in theory this improves Attack potential, in practice this gimmick is to the detriment of an Attack combination, as the rebound, combined with strong impacts, can cause the combination to Burst.
