Players of Fallout 4 will likely remember Vault 95 as the place where they have to take Cait for her personal quest. However, like all Fallout 4 vaults, this one was the venue of a twisted experiment. Reading through the available terminal entries reveal why Vault 95 even had a clean room, and what befell the former vault residents. Vault 95 was built to house a total of 72 inhabitants, all of whom were suffering from some form of chem addiction. Vault-Tec had arranged a full-fledged chem rehabilitation program for the future inhabitants of Vault 95, which is why requirements for entry were so specific. In late October of the year , the chosen vault residents entered the facility, and their road to recovery began. Though similar to most vaults, Vault 95 had a unique method of choosing their Overseer, which required the residents to elect one. It also specified that, unlike other vaults, the Overseer did not hold a position of power but instead one of support and servitude. Moreover, the vault residents would elect a new Overseer every year on October However, the program seemed to have been effective as stated by a man named Randall Gutierrez in his terminal entries. Five years after first entering the vault, he writes that the program and its methods were a success. Despite a few challenges, particularly withdrawals, all of his fellow inhabitants managed to overcome their chem addiction and cope with their new life in Vault Later in his terminal entry, he notes that the absence of chems has no doubt been useful in the rehabilitation process. This is where things start to go downhill.
The ascending stairs in the atrium lead to the Oveerseer's office, which doubled as the vault's group therapy room.
There is 1 Bobblehead in this location. The entrance to the Vault is an open room guarded by enemies on and below a platform. You can use the elevator at the back of the entrance to enter the vault. After the elevator, the first area is guarded by laser booby traps. A large group of enemies are positioned after the booby traps, so triggering any of them will provoke the enemies to run towards your position.
One of the most important recurring structures found in the Fallout games are Vaults; gigantic subterranean bunkers designed to house dozens to hundreds of people in the United States and protect them from the fallout of nuclear warfare. These underground colonies were built by the Vault-Tec corporation to last a tremendously long time, however, not all were the sanctuaries that they were made out to be by Vault-Tec representatives. There are 5 Vaults to be found in the main game of Fallout 4 excluding DLC , and these structures are always loaded with loot, quests, and interesting characters, so they are definitely worth seeking out and delving into, even if they sometimes house strange and deadly enemies. Players are sure to be familiar with this Vault, as it is the place where they and their family sought refuge as the bombs began to fall. However, it turned out that Vault was a site for Vault-Tec's cryostasis experiment, which meant the freezing of all the inhabitants, including the player. That is until a mercenary enters the picture to kidnap the player's child, murder their spouse, and catalyze the main quest of the game. Vault is located just northwest of the settlement known as Sanctuary , the first upgradable location in the game and where the player will call home until they decide to build their house somewhere else. Another prime example of why to never trust a huge corporation like Vault-Tec, Vault 75 turned out to be a place of torture and murder more than a shelter to protect people. According to the information that the player can find while inside, this Vault's staff executed the adult dwellers inside soon after it was activated following the dropping of the bombs and then began experimenting on the now orphaned children to see if they can be twisted into becoming creatures that could survive in a nuclear wasteland. Now, though, nothing remains of the staff or the children and this vault is now occupied by members of the Gunners gang.
