Vegeta AF Vegeta is the alternate timeline counterpart of Vegeta who vegeta af in the alternate timeline in which the events of GT, vegeta af. Vegeta is arrogant throughout the series and becomes bitter due to the abuse his race suffered at the hands of Frieza.

I am the Prince of all Saiyans once again! Vegeta or Prince Vegeta is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and arch-rival to Goku. Throughout the majority of the story, he has set his main goal on defeating Goku, even though they later turn from enemies and rivals to allies and close friends. After the Frieza Saga, he begins living on Earth, where he stays for the rest of his life. Vegeta's stands 5 feet in comparison with Goku 's 5 feet 7 inch height as stated by creator Akira Toriyama.

Vegeta is one of the most iconic manga characters of all time. He changes his outfit for every single arc in the original Dragon Ball Z , sometimes multiple times in the same arc. With a bolder blue, the Cell arc armor actually looks much nicer. In fact, almost all of the character redesigns at the end of the original series play more to a casual aesthetic with the exception of Goku, Pan, and Goten. At the end of the day, Vegeta prefers regular exercise gear. Which is a nice way of contrasting him with Goku, actually. By that point, GT is far past its prime and barely worth watching anymore. Without the belt flarings, Vegeta can engage in combat with way more fluidity. Vegeta just looks so regal with this armor, and this was before it was revealed he was royalty. It also helps that Vegeta has the most distinct armor of the three invading Saiyans.

This is shown when he maintains the form auralessly as though it were his natural state during both his training with Trunks in the gravity chamber, and before his fight with Goku against Kid Buu. Then, Frieza showed up. Vegeta later developed a strong age crisis, such as ignoring a group of teenagers flirting with his daughter until they called him a "geezer" and when Dr. After the defeat of Kid Buu, he had a change of heart and his angry grudge against Goku became a friendly rivalry. They follow Supreme Kai to Babidi's ship. When Vegeta transformed, Goku was completely outclassed and had to resort to using the Spirit Bomb technique. After hearing from the only survivor of Goku's assault, Jeice, that all his members were ambushed, the leader of the Ginyu Force, Captain Ginyu, personally confronts Goku himself. He is very similar to Gogeta, who is another fusion of Goku and Vegeta. In this form, Baby Vegeta was completely unfazed by a full force punch to the face from a Super Saiyan 3 Goku. He was created as a desperate plan by Elder Kai to stop the powerful Super Buu.

Dragon Ball Super appears to owe some of its own plot developments to one of the franchise's most famous fan-comics. One of Vegeta's coolest power-ups originated in a Dragon Ball doujinshi , or fan-comic, called Dragon Ball AF , which was surprisingly created by Toyotarou before he became the official artist for Dragon Ball Super.

When Goku turns his back to get out the last senzu bean and split it between him and Majin Vegeta to stop Majin Buu, Majin Vegeta attacks and knocks him out. Since their first battle, his opinion of Goku always being one step ahead of him, even though Goku is a lower class Saiyan, runs the gamut from contempt to rivalry, and later to respect and friendship. During the Namek Saga , he did begin to exhibit changes; rather than killing Krillin or Gohan like he promised in the previous saga , he instead forms an alliance with them. Vegeta had been training during that time, and was quite a bit more powerful than before. Perfect Cell regenerated, though, and then badly beat the weakened Vegeta. He was being completely dominated by Frieza's immense strength. Although he kept those thoughts hidden, it was not until the Babidi Saga that he gave in to his obsession of overtaking Goku in might, becoming a Majin and "evil" once more. Vegeta then spends three days standing on a cliff, thinking about his defeat. While it was never shown on-screen during the movie, it is implied during the events of Resurrection F that Vegeta achieved the level of Super Saiyan God during his various training sessions with Whis though it's also been said that maybe he achieved it as well to do battle with Champa. Main article: Golden Great Ape. Despite his personality flaws, Vegeta is capable of respecting individuals, although he never outright states it often showing his respect non verbally.
