Hot spot alert! Villa Coucou opened in and promises its guests a luxury gastronomical experience. The restaurant had been on our list to try out. Returning from a trip to Antwerp, with no dinner plans, we were lucky that Villa Coucou still had a spot for two on a Saturday. Our impromptu visit was fantastic! The staff was professional but fun, the owner Jonathan Rongeau, a young but ambitious dude! We can definitively recommend this restaurant for a relaxed fine dining experience. The stairs lead you to a spacious and luxury reception area. The bar just has a few black marble tables, comfy green velvet chairs and a big velvet bar couch. The same luxury velvet chairs and bistro marble tables could easily have you think you are in Paris.

This exceptional collaboration results in a harmonized menu that we would like to call a culinary voyage. All in all, we had a great and very tasty experience and we will definitely visit Villa Coucou again!

With a lot of enthusiasm Edouard explains how their menu works. All of their dishes are homemade and created from scratch, even their drinks. And their passion shines through in the quality of the products and the flavour profiles. For lunch, I choose their beef burger, which is stacked with grilled goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, pickles and a generous dollop of pesto mayonnaise. The beef is succulent and juicy and works so well with the other ingredients, where flavours of savoury, sweet and sour are deliciously mixed, tucked between a fluffy bun.
