Standard issue weapon for Djinn Sentinel.

The Stinger is the default weapon for the Djinn Sentinel. Stinger fires poisonous projectile darts at enemies in a similar manner to Acrid darts, dealing Toxin damage. This weapon accepts rifle mods. This weapon can be sold for 1, Credits 1, The Stinger is automatically acquired upon claiming the Djinn from the Foundry. Note that this weapon also takes up one Sentinel inventory slot. Update

The Stinger is the signature weapon of the Djinn sentinel and brings a unique appeal to the game: It does fire darts at an enemy and deals innate toxin damage, which feels somewhat similar to the Acrid weapon. The biggest problem this weapon has is the very low critical chance and status chance, paired with no IPS damage and a low magazine size. If you are looking for a good start to base your own build on or if you simply want to copy and paste a solid build, you did come to the right place! Which means you really want to build around that by using a lot of fire rate mods at least Vile Acceleration and Speed Trigger in combination with a lot of multishot. Multishot is very nice on this sentinel weapon, simply because it will provide the chance to hit multiple enemies at once and spread the toxin damage even further. Primed Fast Hands or the normal version are a great addition and will not only increase your damage output because you get more shots per second with a shorter reload time. It will also help you to proc more status effects, which in return will help you deal more damage with your abilities or other weapons — especially if you go for viral or corrosive damage. Especially the guaranteed toxin damage is very nice and will help you against higher level enemies. If you use viral or corrosive damage as well on this weapon, you get yourself a supporting sentinel weapon that does work quite well. By Aristical , November 15, in General Discussion. I got a riven weapon mod for a stinger yet i have never seen one. They are not in the codex nor are they in the store. Please tell me like wtf how can a mod be for a weapon we dont have. Stinger is actually a very good weapon, but you need a lot of forma to make it viable. I got 6 forma on mine and I slot it on my carrier prime whenever I'm using a shotgun as a primary. Took me ages to find out what weapon it was for

If your weapon has a high critical chance and multiplier you should replace some of the elemental mods with critical-boosting mods most useful for Soma, Grakata, Synapse, bows, etc. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.
