We had a great time the check in was quick and easy. The camp ground host were awesome and very helpful. All the campsites have a view of the river. Really a nice park, part of the TVA campground group. Once we got settled in, everything was fine Only a two night stay. This campground is in a beautiful c Beautiful site. Took our Kayaks and enjoyed the river section. Many folks were fly fishing. Also hiked some of the AT trail which is near the campsite. Trees were wonderful in the fall.

Thank you. Watauga Dam Campground boasts a large picnic area and a boat ramp located on the way to the overlook. The overlook for the Watauga Lake is on top of the mountain by the campground.
