Appreciate 0. I use Wawa premium gas all the time Appreciate 1. I do not use if for its a 92 octane which isnt bad for our cars If not costco, I do like shell v-power. I would think a can of dry gas for the first issue or fuel system additive for cleaning the fuel system for the second issue.
Looking for anyone who has had problems with gas in the past few days from the wawa on mountain ave. I would think that instead of the gas being a problem I would suspect condensation in the gas tank. Or possibly a fuel filter issue if your tank was all the way empty as that sucks up the layer of sediment on the bottom of your tank. I would think a can of dry gas for the first issue or fuel system additive for cleaning the fuel system for the second issue. I'm used to octane at BP compared to the 92 at Wawa, but could not tell the difference. And I may be showing my age here, but does anyone else remember back when Shell wasn't a premium brand, it was actually the cheapo fuel station? Maybe bad batch of gas. I myself have one of those "performance tunes" done on my ECM, saw no improvement in power, gas mileage or anything when using 93 verses 87 octane. I had issues too, stopped using it and now no issues. Gas station denied everything. My local gas station's best octane is only 91, but it is pure gas-zero ethanol. Those companies can and do add things to it but nothing that is going to "harm" your vehicle. One is 93 and the other is 91 IIRC. I would think a can of dry gas for the first issue or fuel system additive for cleaning the fuel system for the second issue. What she said I havent hooked up a scanner to see if it knocks, but I dont hear any or noticed reduced power.

I wonder how important the top tier additive packages are for people running premium Sent from my SM-GU1 using Tapatalk. Consigliere Jan ' I worry more about the tanks its stored in than what they put into it. I hear Costco gas has pretty good detergents in it and is considered top tier. Must just be the quality of the suppliers Wawa uses I have since switched to QuickChek Gas and have had absolutely no issues. Costco is top tier. You are correct. It is very rare for any reputable station with high volume to have an issue with the quality of the gas that would affect the running of the car as long as you get the right octane level for your car.
