So my question is is 92 and 93 octane a big difference. And from what I hear why was gas can be a crapshoot you can actually get 93 but since that use basically gas it's left over it could be I get it occassionally. I havent hooked up a scanner to see if it knocks, but I dont hear any or noticed reduced power. I've run wawa 92 plenty of times with no issues. I also run Costco 93 and don't notice any difference lol. I have been running only Wawa 92 in my cars and gas trucks for as long as I can remember with no issues!

A new wawa opened up near my house and it's already put two other stations out of business but I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on their fuel? One thing I like about newer stations is you know there tanks and equipment are new. Really old stations for some reason makes me think more water might get in but probably not. Wawa reminds me of this one time at lunch when a coworker with a strong accent was talking about how much he loves guava, but our boss kept thinking he was saying he loves Wawa and was like 'yah that is a pretty nice gas station. Just give it a few days for the fuel to flush out any residue from the new equipment. All stations have to meet the same requirements and are all tested just as often wether it's all new or 10 years old. About 10 years ago, I think, The EPA came down hard on stations and a lot of mom and pop stores had to sell to the big boys because they couldn't afford new tanks. It used to be acceptable the have minor leaks letting gas out and ground water in.

I'm used to octane at BP compared to the 92 at Wawa, but could not tell the difference. To fix it, a lot of companies just lined the tanks with fiberglass or similar stuff. Various gas stations exist; hence, it is quite normal to come across different qualities of gasoline. The prized gasoline on the market is mostly those that meet up or exceed the standard of top-tier gasoline laid down by the car manufacturers. Top-tier gasoline is very beneficial to the engines of cars but does this imply that gasoline not labeled as top tier is not suitable or safe for your vehicle?
I told my wife to fuel that bad boy up at the highest traffic station in the town she works at. Ethanol does have an affinity for water but it does weird things as Frank noted. We used to have fuel mart and it had an excellent trucker stop restaraunt, 20 years ago it closed 9 years ago We used to have citgo station directly on opposite side of road of fuel martand it had a eatery.
