Morning commute could be messy. Portions of New Jersey could see two inches of snow in a storm likely to impact the region late Wednesday through early Thursday, according to forecasts. The latest map shows a large area of the state, spanning from Trenton to Asbury Park and north to Morris County, being affected, with one to two inches of snow possible. Earlier forecasts put snow totals around an inch for the Wednesday night bout of winter weather. The storm is expected to bring light rain beginning Wednesday before changing to snow later that night and through Thursday in the Garden State. Before the snow, Wednesday should bring sun and highs in the 40s, followed by a cold night. Forecasters are also tracking a second storm that could bring significant accumulation Friday night into Saturday. The forecast for that storm remained uncertain.
