The mission of the Wenatchee Kennel Club WKC is to promote responsible pet ownership and to engage handlers and dogs in learning activities that exercise the brains and muscles of both handlers and dogs. WKC welcomes anyone who loves dogs, enjoys dog sports, or likes hanging out with other dog people, and is willing to abide by our governing rules and policies. We are an all-volunteer organization, so we rely on members to make our programs run smoothly. Member dues are payable on or before Jan. Please ensure that your contact information is current. Volunteer at a minimum of two events per year OR. Attend a membership meeting prior to submitting your application packet. Submit the complete packet Application and check or cash for yearly dues to the Membership Chairman. Your application will be presented at the next Board of Directors Meeting for review and approval. Attend a second membership meeting to be introduced to the members and your application will be presented to the general membership for final vote. In lieu of attending the two meetings, you may volunteer at least 4 hours at each of two major events tests, trials, shows, approved seminars , and other projects as determined by the Board of Directors, held by the club.
