The infamous Negan. Image Comics. Sunday night's episode of "The Walking Dead" should put some of the final puzzle pieces together before the man arrives. Who is the man? Well, he's Negan, the iconic villain from "The Walking Dead" comic book. And thanks to a leaked promo video which is below but may get taken down at some point and some rumors that appear to be true, we know when he's coming. As you can see from the video, Negan isn't one of the Saviors that Rick's group has already taken down. He is, in fact, much worse. Rumors surfaced last week detailing just how the Season 6 finale might end. It appears the Saviors will corner Rick's group, leaving Negan to decide which one of them will pay the price for the raid on the Saviors' compound. This leaves Morgan and Carol potentially safe. Though, they could run into their own trouble during the finale or earlier. Another thing the leaked teaser suggests is a potential cliffhanger for Season 6. Rumor has it the infamous Negan death scene will be shot from the victim's perspective and we may have to wait until October's Season 7 premiere to find out who.

After Maggie suffers pain from pregnancy, Rick and the group urgently try to get her to the Hilltop Colony in their RV for medical attention; however, every one of the routes they take is blocked by a progressively larger number of Saviors, led by Simon Steven Ogg , with increasingly frightening capabilities. Concurrently, Morgan finds Carol injured from a cut on her stomach and patches her up. While Morgan goes outside to kill a walker that is making noise, Carol flees and Morgan again pursues on horseback. Roman, the Savior who survived her attack , finds Carol first, shooting her in the right arm and leg, stating that she will suffer like his friends did. Morgan shows up just in time to save her, breaking his vow by killing Roman, and encounters two men wearing armor who approach on horseback: one of them is the mysterious survivor from the barn that Morgan saved from Rick. After the strangers offer them help, Morgan agrees to get Carol medical assistance.
By Noel Murray. Back in , Image Comics published the th issue of The Walking Dead , and creator Robert Kirkman celebrated the milestone by doing what he does best: killing a major character. That particular chapter introduced Negan, a bat-wielding bully with an army of lackeys and a mile-wide mean streak. All season long fans have been waiting for The Walking Dead to debut Negan -- the show's latest and by far most anticipated Big Bad. Last night the villain arrived on the scene in epic form, and though there were notable differences between the character Jeffrey Dean Morgan so effortlessly embodies and the one readers met in The Walking Dead , Negan's menacing-yet-charming manner and business-like approach remain intact. Still, with how little Negan is actually onscreen during The Walking Dead 's minute season 6 finale , viewers would be forgiven for not feeling quite the same mix of excitement and dread as their fellow fans who are more familiar with the character's comic book origins. Not too mention the decision to end on a cliffhanger which arguably saps most of the tension from the scene. The final moments of last night's episode are only half the story, and without the rest of Negan's now infamous introduction, the character feels unfinished. To help explain and give further context to Negan and what his arrival means for The Walking Dead moving forward, we've compiled a primer on the character's personality and motivations. This in itself, this long drawn-out teasing of Negan, helps create a sense of foreboding about the character.

Unable to choose a victim, Negan claims to have an idea; he starts a game of " eeny, meeny, miny, moe ", pointing Lucille down the line of survivors as he recites the rhyme.
