It is worth going out of your way to get a can - it's almost up to the standards in terms of coverage as solvent based. Finish still not as smooth though. I little trick I was taught years ago is to put the very slightest touch of black into it. As I said previously, yes adding a touch of black does give some serious help in preventing white turning yellow. I fully appreciate that Dulux's paints are tougher and generally better all round, but since I've found Wickes' paint to be perfectly ok at resisting knocks and nice enough to use it's for my own house Crown Solo already does it for you.. It is self-undercoating, wipeable, non-yellowing and suitable for use on interior wood and metal, including radiators. Seems there isn't much to choose from in the anti-yellowing stakes with oil-based paint then?
