Wotr lepers smile
This canyon cuts through the ground like an open sore. The uneven stones of its cliffs are covered with pits and outcroppings, like the cankered skin of a leper. In the depths of the crevice there are dark burrows leading somewhere deep into the earth. This location is visited as part of the main story quest, The Music of the Abyss. Your army cannot pass over this location on the world map until this area is completed. To see the outcomes of the distraction party, see The Music of the Abyss. This area is rife with vescavor swarms. Come prepared to deal with swarms and acid damage, as you will face both here. You will encounter three types of enemies in the canyon. Leper's Smile has four loot caches distributed across the map, and a lost traveler you can optionally help. Each cache you loot will reduce your army morale by -5 and deal damage to all of your troops in your most powerful army. Helping the traveler will do the same. Looting all four caches and helping the traveler will result in substantial damage to your armies, possibly destroying them outright, and total army morale. Each cache contains a number of valuables, scrolls, and the following notable items or characters:. You can find the Silky Veil in a box near cache 2.

Quests can provide unique adventuring experience, as well as powerful gears and treasures. Some quests are time-limited and some can only be completed with certain companions. Rustling, grating, squeaking, and humming, a thousand mind-bending little voices - a vescavor swarm stands in the way of the crusader army. It's not the sort of opponent that these valorous knights expected to fight - not an enemy army, not even a huge monster, but a horde of tiny gluttonous beasts, able to pick a soldier to the bone, armor and all. Victory over the swarm will require desperate measures. Vescavor swarms lie in the path of the crusade, and they must be dealt with.

One that's unique to this game is the Mythic Path , a choice each character makes at certain points in the story, or after they reach certain milestones. The Mythic Path doesn't have to be related to class, but sometimes the extra powers it grants are more or less effective depending on your character's moral alignment. One of the Mythic Paths that appeals more to Evil or Neutral moral alignments is the fearsome, visceral, and generally overpowered Swarm-That-Walks.

As a heads up you can avoid most of the army losses by splitting the bulk of your force away from Lepers Smile and leaving 1 unit I chose the shieldbearers in my run wit hthe general at Lepers Smile and moving the rest away I moved them back just across the east side of the river and they were fine. If they are it'd mean using slings would be best for the above. For any new player going through the game semi-blind looking for ways to make it easier, using that item is one of the good ways of going about it. Summons might also be able to soak them, but in my experience the AI most of the time just completely ignores summons so I have never tried this. Doe aoe spells like fireball work well with the swarms? So you can rescue the halfling and grab the Silky Veil which is in a box at the first nook in the left, while still keeping it at the base quest counter and not losing troops. How about the keneticist's attacks against swarms?
I am sorry, it not absolutely approaches me. Perhaps there are still variants?
