The One Club For Creativity invited us to develop the identity of their latest Young Guns award YG17which recognises the vanguard of creative professionals 30 years of age and under.

Young Guns is a portfolio competition awarding creative professionals 30 years and under, including designers, illustrators, entrepreneurs, and more! After all, this is an award that honors a young creative's body of work over multiple years, not just what could be done over Zoom and with social distancing. And so the call for entries was opened in June, and the global response far surpassed expectations that had been muted by the pandemic. Believing that diversity breeds diversity, this year's Young Guns jury was expanded to include more than 80 creatives from around the world and across many cultures and disciplines. With the usual split between past Young Guns winners who know firsthand of the glory this accolade brings, alongside other respected professionals bringing their own unique perspectives, the jury spent nearly three months going over hundreds of submissions. After multiple rounds of scoring, they settled on a finalist list of 83 entrants, all leading to spirited discussions that resulted in this year's class of 31 new inductees into the Young Guns family.

Young Gun Silver Fox are musical sorcerers. On West End Coast, they've fashioned a fresh and modern sound that summons one of the most vibrant and influential epochs in popular music. The ten songs herein pay homage to s Los Angeles, a golden age of recording that infused the pop charts and FM airwaves with a blend of soulful voices, immaculate melodies, stellar musicianship, and sophisticated studio technology. It was inevitable that two of the UK's most prolific and versatile pop music linguists would one day collaborate on a studio project that crystallized many of their creative strengths. West End Coast fuses the talents they've mastered in their respective careers, from Andy's role as frontman and co-founder of Mamas Gun to Shawn's numerous self-produced projects with AM and his own Ping Pong Orchestra. The authentic hybrid of styles on West End Coast is further steeped in the fact that Shawn, the team's silver-haired Silver Fox, is an American who resided in LA for seven years before relocating to London. What a voice! Some of the music he generated on this album was so special I really had to dig deep to do it justice in a songwriting sense. An undeniable synergy informs Young Gun Silver Fox's maiden voyage. Recorded and mixed at Lee's Trans-Yank Studio in London, West End Coast straddles several sensibilities that are united by the duo's impeccable songwriting. Each song is like a post card from their unique musical universe. Album opener "You Can Feel It" sets the tone with a soundscape that conjures the vastness of California's Pacific Coast Highway and a cool ocean breeze blowing through the chorus.

Each course will include real-life examples, comprehensive direction, and expert guidance when it comes to creating your own artwork. YGA courses are made so you can learn on your own time. Our Foundations program provides students a comprehensive view on drawing fundamentals — perspectives, lighting, and mark-making — with a special focus on mastering the techniques of figure drawing. Besides covering gesture and anatomy, we have weekly drop-in figure drawing sessions every Thursday from pm.

Recognising the lack of opportunities available to music college graduates, brothers Dominic and Alexander Lyon set up Young Guns Group to connect talented young musicians with the event and record industries. Young Guns Group has provided entertainment at celebrity parties, sold out arena tours, created bands that have won talent show contests, broken a world-record, won numerous awards and worked on thousands of events. We believe that if you place entertainment at the heart of an event, something truly memorable can be created.
