I traveled to Vegas for convention at the beginning of October, and it was absolutely incredible to meet so many smart, driven people in person. It has truly spurred me on to take this gig to the top. We adopted a new puppy too a couple of weeks ago — totally on impulse — but the best things are done based on spontaneity. Running really does make me happy — I hate missing a day and I get tremendous joy from a 4 mile jog round the neighborhood with Larkin. Yesterday, November 7th, it was almost in the 80s here! Not really boot and sweater weather. These Toga Pulla boots are superb and various sizes are available on sale here. Lazy mornings with coffee and watermelon by the Med, followed by lazy afternoons with tea and olives by the Med. Of all the craziness — there are SO many blocked sites here. So here are my outfits from the start of the vacation in Istanbul — lots of dresses — they are really easy to pack and lovely to wear day or night.

It's the middle of Autumn and this week I've really started to feel the cold 10 degree mornings! I swear it feels like minus 5 and my jeans just aren't keeping me warm anymore. You might have noticed that over the last year I have been transitioning my wardrobe from black and white clothing to something more of a neutral palette. I have found that this allows me to wear my clothes more often and styled in a hundred more different ways. They're more comfortable to restyle again and again later on and wear into the spring months. I found that during the summer I often wore light coloured pants anyway, so I think these are a good buy for whichever season your dressing for. There's a corduroy shirt among my choices this time!

I'm a 12 on top and 10 bottom half. BUT in Zara, the Medium is really tight and the large just about fits i'm thinking it's not just me, because they've always run out of Large, with just mediums and small sizes left Why on earth do they do this? Maybe it doesn't help that I'm big-chested?

Tailored trousers are a go to item for me and I find them perfect for elevating an outfit, and for me creating perfect smart casual looks.
