Where are you from? I was born in Germany but have lived in California most of my life. Where do you live now and what do you love most about it? I live in Ojai, CA. I have lived in many places and Ojai is the first place I have felt truly at home. I know this sounds very Californian but my soul comes alive here. I feel at peace inside myself here. I love the community, nature, and the ability to have a lot of space and freedom here. Please share what you do. I wear quite a few hats in my life, I am a mom to four kids, a chef, recipe developer, and food photographer.

Nothing speaks winter cozy, more than a warm bowl of soup. In Southern California, we just received a generous dumping of rain, which for many means staying put, heading into the kitchen, and making a nourishing pot of soup. This soup is my latest favorite soup. My kitchen in the wintertime is all about cozy. Warm, comforting, and nourishing. During her fellowship, she participated in research in preventive conservation, particularly for modern polymeric materials i. She received her PhD in Material Science from Eastman Dental Institute, University of College London, investigating green-based nanocellulose treatments for the structural consolidation of paintings canvas. David Carson , who began his career at the GCI in , is the manager of the GCI scientific laboratories and is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and safety of the equipment and activities performed in the laboratories.
