Despite appearing completely human, the Moonlight Boy seems to have the ability to detect and exercise some form of persuasive control over astral creatures. Another ability of the Demon Infant seems to be manipulation of dreams or mind — prior the events of the Tower of Conviction, the infant creates a dream in the mind of his father to warn him about Casca running off into the fangs of a crazy mob and getting burned at the stake as a result.
