A more subtle example is whenever the eliminated contestants voted for anyone but Leafy to win Dream Island, Pen is the only one out of his friends who didn't slap them for it. Pen also went out of his way to help Rubber Spatula feel better about being the least voted to join, encouraging Rubber Spatula to look at the situation in a more positive light. The biggest and most obvious example is that Pen is nice enough to be friends with the more macho group, who are all jerks keep in mind. He tends to be nicer than his friends, as Blocky and Snowball have been shown to enjoy murdering other contestants, while Eraser seemingly does not care much about other people.
