Hero Monkeys in Bloons TD 6 are powerful, self-leveling units that develop activated abilities as they get stronger. They are purchased the same way as your towers but are limited to a single unit per match. Each monkey hero in Bloons TD 6 costs a different amount of coins to place in-game and you can only have one hero active at a time. The best hero for each map will vary due to the variation in their abilities. As you place the hero in your game, they level up automatically through use. There are 20 levels per hero, and each level gives a new ability. These can be found in the Hero menu directly below the selected hero when viewing your options.
