Bubble on laptop screen

I have begun to notice very small bubbles around the edge of my screen I initially thought that these were a surface defect but after giving the screen a good clean the defect is behind the touch surface. It appears to be the surfaces delaminating behind the part of the screen that you can physically touch, bubble on laptop screen. Has anybody else experienced this?

Bubble on laptop screen

My friends laptop has what looks like bubbles in the screen. Does anyone know what causes this and if its fixable? It kinda looks like when you have a screen protector that bubles… yet theres no screen protector on it. Its a Asus EEpc… those little nettops. Have you contacted Asus to see if they will warranty it? It is hard to say exactly what happened to it. Could be a screen manufacturing defect or a heat issue. Maybe a crack due to putting to much pressure on the screen and then air gets in and causes a bubble. It would have to be a defective LCD. You can generally order a replacement online and often find instructions for doing so. Google will be your friend here.

This post is more than 5 years old. September 1st, As the title suggests I am starting to see small air bubbles form under the glass on my Adamo 13 laptop - along the edge of the LCD monitor and the black border. I cannot seem to find any other reports of this issue on the web. This laptop almost never leaves the house, or even the desk it sits on, and is otherwise in perfect condition. It is run in a degree house, low humidity Phoenix, AZ - really no reason I can see as to why this would be happening, at least not from anything I am doing. Trying to contact the right people at Dell is very hard. There is a special group apparently for Tech support on Adamo laptops that are between 91 and days old, and I have yet to be properly transferred to them. I am hoping that Dell will replace the monitor without having to send the whole machine back in - but as it is now discontinued, I wonder what the likelihood is of this getting fixed I have this problem too 2.
