Our welcoming, well-run club is specifically designed for older people who are living independently in the local area. We provide tailored care, a variety of activities and a flexible approach to suit you and your loved one. Our experienced and friendly team support people who are living with dementia or are physically frail, or may need a little help with everyday tasks. Discover a friendly welcome and a flexible approach at our day care centre in Bury St Edmunds. Or, book a half day from 9am until There is no joining fee and you only pay for the days your loved one is with us. However, there is an extra charge for hairdressing and pamper sessions. The inspection We carried out this inspection under Section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act the Act as part of our regulatory functions. We checked whether the provider was meeting the legal requirements and regulations associated with the Act. We looked at the overall quality of the service and provided a rating for the service under the Health and Social Care Act As part of this inspection we looked at the infection control and prevention measures in place.

I love leading the team to provide the best possible care and support colleagues internally to be the best they can be and develop in the same ways I have over the years to reach their career goals. The whole atmosphere is a very peaceful and happy one. Residents living in Care UK homes are offered a range of day trips and organised activities in their surrounding areas. These outings are a great chance for residents to get out and about and enjoy activities, exercise and a change of scenery. Some people living with dementia had very little stimulation or activity. In the summer we take rickshaws around the town, we go bowling and we love to get over to the seaside towns of Felixstowe or Southwold, which are an easy journey. The environment was well maintained, and systems were in place to check equipment to ensure it was safe. The service is currently without a registered manager. Risks were assessed but the service was not always proactive about managing risk.
