Employing the traditional silver working methods of the early Native American and Spanish Colonial plateros, each piece is meticulously crafted from an original ingot. A variety of old tools and implements, including an antique Spanish colonial anvil, canon balls from the Mexican Revolutionary period and old steel forms, combine to help create the unique effects of his art. A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Tony was a well respected engineering contractor, with the beauty and quality of his work winning numerous project awards. His creativity and unique mindset then turned to one media he has always loved, silver. Expanding on his original fascination of working with fine metals, Tony has now become an artist whose work is in great demand for discriminating collectors.
