Upon defeating the boss, your Hookshot spell will be upgraded with the ability to now perform a powerful slash with your sword while being pulled towards a target. Once you have defeated the boss, you can now swing your weapon while hookshoting to an enemy to deal a mighty hit-and-run blow. Jump Attack: When standing still for too long, the boss will jump in the air and target your location. Given the AoE of the boss, this attack is somewhat hard to avoid if you dodge the attack too late.

The skills are powerful on their own and allow you to solve puzzles, but you can upgrade them by defeating bosses found in The Lost Cemetery and the surrounding areas.
