Some routes will now run two buses and hour whereas others will be extended to serve more destinations. Derbyshire bus changes
From Sunday, October 29, Stagecoach is set to make a number of changes to its buses services Chesterfield and Derbyshire. The frequency of some routes has been increased and some routes have been extended, providing new links. Monday to Saturday daytime buses will be extended across Chesterfield to serve Green Farm, using the current 2a route. Buses will run hourly. On Sundays, the 5 will continue to run between Chesterfield and Newbold only. On Monday to Saturday daytimes, buses will run every 30 minutes instead of every hour, with more early morning journeys introduced. Sunday daytime journeys are introduced, replacing the 25a. The timetable will also change to improve punctuality. Later daily evening journeys will be introduced. On Monday to Saturday daytimes, buses will run every 30 minutes. Changes are also made to improve punctuality.
Service 42 will be introduced, running 2 hourly evening and Sundays between Sheffield, Manor Top, Frecheville and Woodhouse even hours, xx35 from Sheffield Interchange.
A total of four bus routes across Derbyshire — the 61, 90, and — will see increased services later this month, as part of a programme of improvements by Derbyshire County Council. The 61 service runs from Glossop to Buxton, the only route directly linking Glossop to the rest of Derbyshire. The improvements will increase the frequency of the service to half hourly in the middle of the day from Monday to Friday. The Saturday service will also be improved with additional early morning journeys. Working with Nottinghamshire County Council, the daytime service has been rescued from complete withdrawal with a revised timetable and route extension to Mansfield Bus Station, to improve links for West Notts College students and Oakham Business Park. The currently runs approximately hourly from 7.

The services 55 and , which run around the Chesterfield, Matlock, Bakewell and Alfreton area had additional buses running from March The 55 has been extended to Chesterfield Royal Hospital and the town's train station. In the evening it has been extended to Wimsey Way industrial estate in Somercotes. This move runs from Monday to Saturdays and is designed to let workers use public transport to get to and from their shifts.

An additional later departure is leaving Sheffield at 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
