My dealings with F Hinds began approximately 8 years ago when I decided I would like a few 9ct rings other than my engagement ring and eternity ring. At first there was no bother at all with F Hinds as I knew my ring size and it was a question of either pick the ring up from a local store or it would be sent by Special Delivery. I made add that I have spent a small fortune with this jeweller and accumulated some nice rings. However, out of the blue after returning items to store because I did not like them or did not fit I was told I had 13 accounts no mention of what this meant or the relevance of these accounts which I hastened to say I did not set them up. I received my first letter from F Hinds. The context of the letter was most unpleasant and I am sure then that this girl was on about accounts and the store losing money because I had made a return and yet they state in their terms and conditions a customer is perfectly entitled to refund an item of jewellery within 30 days and also they have a 14 day Cooling Off Period and I quote "If you or the recipient of your gift are unhappy with any purchase we will try to assist you.

I went into the Wolverhampton shop not to long ago and was greeted by a young man. I asked about pendants as I was looking for a gift for my daughters 21st he came out and showed me what the store had while being extremely polite, explained the carat and the stones, he asked me who it was for and suggested some nice pendants based around her birthstone which would make it that bit more special as 21 is a big birthday which I thought was wonderful! I was only looking as her birthday is awhile away, however well done to the Wolverhampton branch, such a kind gentleman you have who obviously takes pride in his job, I'm sure all of the staff do, but credit is due when it's due. I shall be informing my family about F. Hinds and we shall visit again! Stay away the staff are rude and useless we waited 5 weeks for something to be engraved and it came back upside down and with a big mark in it. Got a refund but my girlfriend still does not have what she wanted. Terrible service gutted I didn't check the reviews on here first don't make the same mistake. I bought 2 pairs of gold earrings, in the middle of November, which wasn't cheap, for two of my daughters for Christmas. One of the pairs of earrings wouldn't go in one of my daughters ears and the other pair didn't have a long enough stem to go in my other daughters ears, also they were the musical note earrings with a hinge and when the hinge is put down they were sharp inside the ears. I went back to today, which was the first change I've had, to get a refund. Then she said I could have a voucher or my money back, but when she checked with the manager they said I couldn't have my money back. So I left, this isn't the first time I've had a problem with this shop it's probably about the 7th time.
I believe that as a valued customer, I deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. My husband took it in last night to be told the manager would ring first thing today, as yet at 3pm this afternoon still not call, very very poor customer service. Returned to Doncaster store well within f hinds reviews days of purchase date for a refund.

My finger was measured instore and I was told it was a size N and that I would have to wait two weeks for the ring to arrive as they didn't have my size instore. Called them said be another week. I then received an email to state that now the cost would be 3 times the amount! Remove a product from the list before doing the comparison. I wear 4 other rings constantly and wanted a reminder of my mum after she died. The ring was still to big and I could see the join where the ring had been soldered back together. My husband has just opened up watch battery intact - still old one probably as not working. On 3 separate occasions for my engagement ring.
