Mine is broken, and I have a bunch of solenoids I could build my own pack with, but it only has thw two main terminals on the motor. Is all the direction handled by reversing polarity or something? The reason it was so cheap was the owner misplaced the solenoid box, and the only way to get one is to order it through harbor freight which could take weeks. So I want to build my own so I can get this thing installed, but winches are a new territory for me. So please enlighten me as to what I'd need to be able to wire this up and have it be good to go. Whichever one you get, as long as it is good for a replacement on a same capacity winch it should be fine. Hell, as much as they get used, you could probably piece it together from ford starter solenoids if you wanted to.
