This was definitely one of the more nicer hotels I stayed in during my trip. The staff during check in was super nice and I'm just going to say it, I love the pajamas they provide. It looked like there was quite a bit nearby to see and there are maps with all the attractions available. For those planning on doing the Shimanami Keido, it is maybe a 20 minute likely less train ride to Onomichi and the bike rentals and ferries to the start of the route are maybe a 5 minute walk from the station. This is a great alternative to staying in Onomichi and provides you with a really nice place to stay. This hotel is a 15 minute walk to the train station in Fukuyama and super eary to navigate. I think what I liked best about this hotel was the security. I really liked that in order to use the elevators about the reception floor, you need to use your key card. Also, they have really strong security for the baths on the upper floors and codes that change every day for the women's room.
