We were looking for a place to stay to hike and enjoy the fall colours. We got a good rate as it was midweek. The one thing that put a little damper for us was the unfriendly receptionist. She barely smiled and was not very welcoming. However, we had a lovely waitress at our table for dinner. The room was parking lot view. We felt as the hotel was practically emp We felt as the hotel was practically empty maybe they would have put us literally on the other side of the floor to have a lake view that would have encouraged us to come back again in the busy season. Cleaning staff were a little careless--we had to call for enough towels one day and some cups another, but I'd certainly stay there again. Hotel was clean as was the room although the rug needs replaced.
