I thought I understood objects, but apparently I don't. That's why I couldn't answer 67A. Channels and networks are very different and distinct things, both in fact and in law. Nothing ambiguous about "ain't" either. My strongest memory of the two years, decades later! I did like the puzzle. Silly theme and far too difficult for a Tuesday. The indoctrination continues with the clues for 13D and 35A. I find the clue on JIVE racist. There are two wives in that marriage. My reading of the 7A clue didn't make me think that the title was referring to Shakespeare himself. Cool idea that had the potential to be fun but I guess no serious players were interested. I don't know to which circle of Hell you consign grammar and spelling "purists" but, as for me, my biggest concern is ambiguity. Liked the challenge. Tough Tuesday!
