Isaac greed
Greed mode is a new game mode introduced in the Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth expansion. The final boss in the mode is Ultra Greed , an ultra large version of the Greed enemy we know and love! The way the mode works is simple: You press a button in the main room and that spawns enemies in timed waves. Pressing the button once more will stop the waves from spawning, but will deal half a heart of damage to you. If you defeat a wave before the time runs out, it will automatically spawn a new wave. If you don't defeat the enemies before the time ends, the next wave will spawn anyways. Each time you start a new wave, the game will place some coins near the button. Each new wave also counts as entering a new room, so you will get charges for any active items as you start new waves. After eight waves, you will have to press the button again to fight two more waves, both of which will contain bosses. After that, you move onto the next floor by heading into the room that is the most south until you reach The Shop, which will not have any treasure rooms but otherwise contain the same layout. The final floor will then only have three rooms: the empty room you start out in, a room above that with usually a Monstro or some Greeds.

Every expansion to The Binding of Issac had a sort of theme to them. With Wrath of the Lamb, it was spiders. Spider enemies and some spider items, among other things. Rebirth gave us poop enemies. With Afterbirth came Greed stuff, after the Greed miniboss. Greed Mode is an alternative way to play Issac, in a sort of quick and distilled version of the game.
Greed mode is a game mode introduced in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth. A Super Secret Room is also connected to one of the rooms. Up until the penultimate floor, an already unlocked Treasure Room with a silver door frame and a normal locked Treasure Room are also available. The silver Treasure Room always gives items from the Boss pool. The final seventh floor has no waves and contains only three rooms, the largest of which contains the game mode's final boss.

He is a Shopkeeper with his noose cut short, and a "screaming" face. Greed attacks by firing fast-moving sets of 3 blood shots from his mouth and by summoning 2 Hoppers which can be replaced by Trites if the player has Wrath of the Lamb installed which also begin to attack Isaac. His shots cause Isaac to lose 3 coins , two will be dropped on the ground and one will be lost permanently. This also applies to any contact damage dealt by him. Greed is one of the harder sins to fight, as his triple shots are fast and he has no animation or sound to warn you before he attacks. His ability to spawn Hoppers is not a great threat, but they act as shields and can make it harder to dodge his projectiles.
