During our holiday to Algarve, we had the opportunity to discover a new dining place in Portimao, that was recommendable, la gioconda pizzeria. Although we prefer to eat la gioconda pizzeria food, one night we felt a little weary of fish, sensibility thesaurus we decided to go to this pizzeria situated at the end of the beach promenade de la Rocha. Although it was Monday, in the month of December and when neighboring businesses were empty, it was pretty busy because it has a delicious wood oven pizza at a competitive price in a cozy atmosphere.

Once you visit you'll see why. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. The wooden tables and benches are perfect for a relaxed pizzeria and great for groups. With plenty of large screen TV's scattered around the restaurant you can keep up with the latest sports. Or, if you rather, keep an eye on the action in the kitchen - La Gioconda has an open kitchen allowing you to see the chefs put your meal together.
