Mad Cool has announced its first wave of artists for its iteration. The festival will take place in the Villaverde district in Madrid from July 10th to the 13th. It will feature national and international acts across seven stages. It will be the seventh time the festival has been held and will see the return of several artists: rock icons Pearl Jam , rock powerhouse Greta Van Fleet , pop superstar Dua Lipa , and British rockers Nothing But Thieves. Alongside household names is the important act of Motxila 21 , a band composed of fifteen young members with Down Syndrome and seven members who are volunteers. The festival has confirmed that it will expand on the stacked slate of artists for next year with another announcement of more artists at a later date.

Now, organisers for the Spanish festival have revealed the final run of artists completing the line-up for Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter Rema has also been added as a new addition.
