Assist bugs will be your best kinsects, with Dual Colour on annoying matchups and Boosted Powder Extract still assist for matchups where you can use a lot of Tetraseal slashes. Powder vortex is useable, but ultimately a lot more work for less damage, Speed are straight up bad generally. Sever bugs can only take the base element value of the weapon and cannot scale, so blunt bugs getting an extra KO or 2 is generally preferred to having slightly higher damage on sever.
