Last fall, after a long search for bids, we hired a pool contracting company to resurface our pools. Horribly, the work went south pretty quickly and the disastrous results have delivered us into the heart of a very unexpected pickle. The work that commenced on our pools in the fall turned out to be, in every way, very poorly done with terrible leadership and communication. The company had presented really well at first with a few positive Yelp reviews, a claim of more than 35 years in business, and a sales pitch and sign-on period that seemed great. Then when we were at the zoo with our daughter on our day off, a subbed-out crew with no leader showed up unscheduled and began a completely botched demolition job resulting in significant damage, not only to our pools, but also to other parts of our site nearby. It felt like a horrible trespass; a betrayal of trust, and perhaps of our naivete in not asking more questions or double checking the credentials of the company.

Anjuli is the founder of Embodied Resonance offering transformational retreats, integrated bodywork, and coaching that focus on opening the body to its highest potential. Her initiation into somatics started in with a dedicated yoga practice and since then has trained in Iyengar, Hatha, and Shadow Yoga as well as Contact Improvisation and Acro-yoga. She has studied both movement and healing arts intensively in India, Thailand, Hawaii, and Bali both giving her a well-rounded, non-dogmatic approach to her teaching. This practice bridges multiple disciplines and encourages curiosity, connection, and trust amongst her students. Anjuli is known for her creative teaching and deep, healing touch which helps her students to explore new pathways of movement and connection with ease and joy. Alok is an experienced retreat leader, bodyworker and teacher who has studied with master teachers around the world. His teaching style is informative, empowering and joyous while helping people find more freedom in their body and mind. Seeking out inspiring natural locations and eco-resorts around the world, Alok has led workshops and retreats with Contact Yoga, Thai Massage, breathwork and mindfulness.

Walk along the natural paths and winding creek to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of this historical gathering place. Outside food is always welcomed. Even though many arrowheads and artifacts have been found in this area over the last century, unfortunately, almost all of these were taken home by private collectors and hobbyists and almost none are to be found here today we strongly encourage those who have any arrowheads or artifacts collected from this area or being handed down in their families to consider participatory rematriation of these artifacts to the Indigenous peoples to which they belong. People have come to these Springs for generations to soak in the healing waters and to gather for picnics and reunions, retreats and organizational meetings, birthdays and weddings, and for nature-based youth camps and field trips. For 10, years, these particular Indigenous peoples lived peaceably and sustainably with each other and with nature stewarding all of the lands that now make up Napa and Sonoma County. But what does this place have to say? The entire resort can also be reserved for a private event with a capacity of people. Each successive owner had strong visions of how to reinvent this grand beauty—many drew up big plans and tried various things to expand its use and season, but critically they did so without first garnering essential neighborhood support or prior county approval. Whether guests come to swim in one of our mineral pools, host a corporate picnic, company meeting, host a family reunion, birthday party, or wedding, we promise to make it an experience to remember. Season Passes are similar to our former memberships, but without extra frills or perks; they are simply bundled admissions packages for those wanting to come a lot , and possibly save a bit of money, too. Season Passes will still be renewable annually, but we will be capping the total number of them to create a balance with General Admission and ensure both that the pools will never be overcrowded and that all our Season Passholders can depend on conveniences like spots saved ahead of time and available for them to reserve all the way up until the day before, and even, where possible, with day-of reservations.
