I've been riding for almost 40 years. Much of that has been on liter-class sport bikes. Last year, I "settled" for a leftover Ninja R.

There is also a derivative of the ER-6 called the Versys which utilizes many of the same components. In many European countries the 6n naked version has proven more popular than the ER-6f; however in other countries, such as Australia and India, the faired Ninja R has proven to be more popular than the un-faired ER-6n, becoming the most popular 'sports-tourer' in the Kawasaki lineup. Again, by popular demand, Kawasaki has brought the ER-6n to the United States for , and this time the name was left intact since Kawasaki already had equity in it.
