The singles and doubles portion of the tournament will be held at Beaver Vu Lanes in Beavercreek. We would like to encourage all Clark County bowlers to participate in this prestigious event. The state Open Championship runs from the last week in February until the end of April. All of the local tournaments will also be held this season, but at different dates than they have appeared in previous seasons. Two new local tournaments were added last season. A Junior Masters was held for the first time. This is a scholarship event for Clark County youth for ages A charity 9 pin tournament honoring the Military was also held for the first time with the proceeds distributed to families at the local National Guard base in Springfield. Both of these tournaments were very successful, and it is anticipated they will continue to grow this year. Please review the tournament schedule on the website or hanging at both Victory and Northridge Lanes, to see when and where each of the local tournaments will be held. Black Lick, Ohio native Chris Via started winning championships at an early age and continues to impress with his knowledge of the sport and his experience on the lanes. Chris joined the PBA full time in In Via became the first No 1 seed to win the prestigious title and coveted green jacket since , and the title came down to the final delivery of a very long week. The year featured much success in the majors, including a top-five finish at the United State Bowling Congress Masters and his pair of tele-vised perfect games February and April.. Eddie started bowling when he was five yeas old and before long, he was secretary of his junior league. Eddie moved on to college competition where he starred for the Western Kentucky University. By 21 he went on to manage a bowling center in Glasgow, Kentucky. His first performance came in , where he shot one of just 14 perfect games rolled that year in the three month long event.
