If we were to stay at this hotel again, I would request a room not on the ground floor because the corridors on the ground floor are quite cold. Blossom Street is only about ten minutes from the city centre so hotel is very close to many of York's attractions. Each tour is led by a world-class guide, who will highlight the very best of their homeland, and includes authentic cultural experiences so you are not just seeing the sights, but truly immersing yourself in local life. Apart from the initial heating issue we found this hotel to be good value for money for a city centre hotel. The hotel is air conditioned and has lifts. The bathroom was icy cold, despite the plentiful supply of hot water, one would have had to be very brave to take a bath in this cold room.
