Now, I can't speak ill of the Rossi because there is an excellent gunsmith, Nate Kiowa Jones, who can slick em up royally. But, its not that hard to find a 'JM' brand Marlin in. Go to a match and try a uberti 73 and 66, marlin and a 92 see which feels right for you if you do go the 92 route you really want to get a good smith to slick it up.
