At the time of updating this review the food has been around for nearly 8 years, and feedback has been really good over that time. That says something about the quality of the brand. On their website they list those organisations by state if you want to check it out. Focusing on the grain free chicken I see the top five ingredients as the majority of the formula as a whole. The downside of this is we have 2 animal ingredients to 3 non-animal ingredients, which is what sets SavourLife apart from those on the best rated list. It helps me make recommendations. Based on good feedback from other dog owners, and a range of dog foods to cater for various budgets, SavourLife could be a good mid-range choice. I would always opt for grain containing foods.

Tommy has been in foster care since a small puppy and is now ready to find his forever home. Tommy enjoys playing on the grass with his siblings, lots of cuddles, a good game of tug of war, playing with his toys and sniffing around to find tasty treats and to explore his expanding world. But once all the playing is done he wants nothing more than to cuddle up with his favourite humans or in his crate to rest and recharge for the next adventure. Tommy is best suited to an active family with older children, and is good with other dogs. He has met his foster families cats and shows little interest in them. Tommy has begun basic training, including crate training but will need a family committed to his ongoing training.
