Cosmo the plant alien from Sonic X did not interest me at first. She was boring, sappy, had little appeal. But after Mission: Match Up the ep with her throwing a party I just couldn't get enough of the Tails-Cosmo relationship, wondering how they'd conclude it on the show. It didn't really surprise me that they killed her off at the end. By now I think we've all heard of Mary Sues.

The young plant girl would prove herself to be one of the best additions to Sonic X , as well as being an excellent character to help propel the character arcs of the exisiting cast. Sonic X is an old series, and newer fans of the franchise may not have given it a chance, or made it to the show's third season. The plot of the third season follows Sonic and his friends returning to their home planet after spending an extended period of time on Earth. Instead of meteors falling from the sky, a spaceship crash lands right in front of Tails, Amy, and Cream. Inside the ship lays a girl named Cosmo, a plant-like creature who came from Planet Green Gate. Sonic and his friends promise to help Cosmo, so they set out into space to find the Chaos Emeralds and fight the Metarex.
