The general public is not allowed to bring cell phones, personal communication devices, or electronic devices into the Judicial Center court building. The Circuit Court is the trial court of general jurisdiction with the authority to try both civil and criminal cases. The Circuit Court also has jurisdiction over divorce cases and adoptions.
