Yellow squash, zucchini, portabella mushrooms, Bermuda onions, roasted red peppers all charbroiled over mesquite flavored woodchips and topped with homemade mozzarella and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Twelve littlenecks in delicious garlic clam broth with fresh tomatoes and onions — absolutely delicious!

Valhalla Crossing, where good friends meet good food, is located in the historic Valhalla Train Station on the Taconic Parkway close to the Kensico Dam. We are known for our plentiful portions of great comfort food, the BEST burgers, huge fresh salads, and creative sandwiches! We serve lunch and dinner 6 days a week closed Mondays. Our restaurant ambiance is cozy and charming with its eclectic decor. The original train station building along with its huge A-frame ceiling and wide-planked floors is the current bar.

Like literally. It all makes sense, though, as this is a train-themed restaurant. Kids love eating on a train! The atmosphere here is great. There is a lot to look at related to the history of the restaurant and the Hamlet of Valhalla and Westchester in general. The bar probably sits about 20, with plenty of tables in the bar area. The bar features about 25 taps with mostly the usual brews, but there is also Smithwicks and local breweries Captain Lawrence and Broken Bow. Broken Bow is a favorite of mine. More to come on that great spot! They also have a pretty nice cocktail menu and a short wine list.
