Team rosters will be announced! Lower school students will participate in valor school calendar 2023-24 team building activities during their PE, and recess times, and these activities may look like learning their citystate team chants and creating their spirit sticks. Upper school students will use their Pelion periods to learn their chants and engage in spirit building activities with their teams.

Re-enrollment dates will be February March 6, All families, including those who are not planning to return or are transferring to a different Valor campus, will need to complete this process by March 6, Details on how to re-enroll will be provided to currently enrolled families via email. Leading up to and during Valor Games, the Valor North Austin campus will be overflowing with school spirit! Valor North Austin 6thth grade Latin students will take the National Latin Exam NLE , which is composed of 40 multiple-choice questions that cover a wide range of knowledge, including grammar, comprehension, and derivatives, as well as literature, history, and geography. Join us for a fun time at the park to celebrate the beginning of 24 hours of giving!

It's an exciting week, and we can't wait to build camaraderie and schools spirit with your students! Put your backpacks in the hallway outside your testing room. What ethos will infuse competitive sports and extracurricular programs? Check the parent newsletter for more details. Current athletes may also wear their athletic jersey or warm-up shirt track jerseys need to be worn with an undershirt with jeans or school uniform bottoms. We will be sharing our curriculum, including our unique Integrated Humanities Program , college counseling , wilderness expeditions , extracurriculars , athletics , uniform updates, and special events. No other items are allowed in the testing room during the test. We will discuss all things related to the college application process, including the timeline for the next 12 months. If you want to dress on-theme, look for ways to add shimmer, shine, greens, blues, and purples in your attire. The high school years are deeply formative: this is a time when girls and boys become young women and men. Uniforms should be worn to school as usual. Maybe you want to launch a business. Those in attendance will have the first chance to sign up for individual family meetings with the college counselor! At the end of the day, the points will be tallied, and one citystate will be declared the Victor of the Valor Games!

Note: This dance is only for VSA 6th grade students. Monday, February 19th will be a holiday for all students K unless the day must be used for bad weather make-up. All clothing should be modest, loose-fitting, in good repair e. Students will jump, jive, and mix it up with their classmates this evening. This will be a bad weather make-up day if needed.
